Les Kroon, Karyn Smith & Leon de Villiers were all awarded 4th Dan at the SA JKA National Gradings held at Honbu Dojo in March 2010. At the October gradings, Molefi Lebone graded to Nidan and Kegan Webber-Maeder was awarded Shodan. |

The SA JKA WKF Rules Championships were held at the Standard Bank Arena recently. Karate Syndicate did exceptionally well, winning 34 medals. Congratulations to all those that competed and many thanks to the managers who did a terrific job!

OFF TO THAILAND!
Three Karate Syndicate members were selected for the SA JKA team that will participate at the JKA Shotocup iin Thailand later this year. The young ladies all excelled in their respective divisions with Daniela taking first place in the Girls 15yrs dividion and Paige taking first with Ashleigh in second place in the Girls 16-18yrs division. In addition, Bruce Smith was appointed manager for the senior team. Congratulations to them all. |
